Short-changed

Oh fruits of joy and alluring beauty..
How soft by sight you make me feel..
How tender the texture your skin to caress..

And the transformation trigger,
So well rescued..
By encounters gained with your soul..

Do you feel short changed..
For I deem your right,
To so much feel..

On butter trades, my market stall stands..
I have all but my face, a smile..
A heart and tendency troubles..
A lot more troubles, laid on my stalls..

To have clouded your landscape grace..
And brought with me an acid rain..
Pinch your soul, on unprovoked..
And watch an apple bleed, with tears..

I came with love, with all my heart..
And placed a smile with laughters joy..
I came with rose, hibiscus and tulips..
I came with daffodils too..

I came to surprise, with beautiful gifts..
I climbed the highest, mountain stand..
And yelled out your name, with joyful sounds..

But you must feel short-changed, by me..
For sometimes my tendency..
Is with down pour, rains and misery too..

This I write to wipe your tears..
And say to you, I love you so..
And say to you, I will make up, the difference soon..

For I know in hearts,
In sincere stands..
You have been short changed, by me..

  7. Sweetly bittersweet...the remorse, and the desire to please in spite of knowing that you possibly can't. Thoughtful poem--I enjoyed it. :)
