Flashing colours

Don't blink to confuse colour codes
What do you hold, in fingers held behind
I want to know, show me proof

Provide the clarity to withstand my test of doubt
Painted replicas do not count, would not stand
Mounted glass still would not count for certified rocks

If I am to step on diamonds you attest to
Would it be glass squashed, to shock naked of jewellery
Dirt like the true value of content it holds

Show me proof of what you are made of
Show me your worth, in what you bring
Do not blink to confuse colour codes

Not this time my friend
A gentleman's handshake would not do
Not with 419 so much in style

Rough Diamonds

Diamonds are a girls best friend
A currency to the hearts desire
And men strive to shower her with

Usher her with
That which sparkles bright with glitter
She has got to have it, to twinkle her eye

But not as f'nd in t' earth, rough around the edges
It has to be clean cut, to have its value sincere
Never rough around the edges, a note of caution

Like raw talent
On wild stallions with strength
Nurturing  needed to adore its full potential

Entailing work to be done
Before delivery in parcels, ribbon wrapped
Never rough around the edges, hear me now

Boats sink half way to float
You have to get your hands dirty
To deliver on wanting success

To carve a beautiful diamond
And bring out, its sparkles and dream
Never rough on edges to show to a girl

More From Less

It is said that less is more
 In substance  and value
And minimalistic  is chic, did you know

Colored waves, subtle in meaning
Pattern in abstract hanged to float
Imagination left to populate thoughts

So the greedy feels out of place
And extravagant is called tacky
Gouging without care

I choose to weather the storm
Diving down breath held to find
A pearl sat against glass beads

The peak of a man in value to attain
Is reflected on his desire to establish
And ambitions, wanting less for more

So as less is held
And more is strived for in substance
I will be the man with less on more

Cleaning dirt, dirt
Off diamonds with finesse
Do you see the sparkle in a distance

Watch this, like magic
Made to accentuate
Accomplishment  of dreams we had

Wild Stallion

Silk lay hanged on wheat fields
She stood captivating with dancing in the wind
The sun out, the calm winds
Blows to give flight

Silk delicately lay hang on leaves
Such grace, she holds, she bares
This thus gives it, its beauty
A beauty adored, only of her kind

Through the windows of my eyes
I see such beauty, vulnerability
She sits like a fairy creature
Blows happiness in the air, with dance
Delicately expressed like the butterfly wings

And I yearn to have presence in here realm
She holds purity, she holds love
The winds are perfect in her world
I hope I guard her sanctity
It is my wish to do so

I am sure, I am up to the task
I itch to do so, with vigour
Yet I fear I come with rougher winds
On the backs of wild stallions

It threatens to blow her off her hang,
Her utopia in paradise
I hope I guard her sanctity
I fear I may bring her pain
