The trotro stories; Bleoo the boneshaker #4

Two can play that game, a tango

On the road with old knights, bleoo, bleoo

The boss when challenged would respond

Bleoo, bleoo and yet he would respond

Slowly but surely, grace and trust to

His old horse and carriage, bleoo, bleoo

Ordinarily he says no word, galloping bleoo, bleoo

He is with eyes set on the path ahead, bleoo

Only to hold grudge if need be as often

With the other gladiators on the road

He will get me home safe as usual, bleoo

He got me to the fields of earn the same

He will get me home safe as usual, bleoo

While in his buggy he is my knight

To slay the dragons on the road with ease

That obstruct my smooth passage home, bleoo

Two can play that game and he is good at it

Weaving through traffic with ease, bleoo, bleoo

The boss when challenged would respond

And he will get me home safe, bleoo, bleoo

No speedometers and speed counters
To mark the pace we travel, bleoo, bleoo

Destination is all that matters as snails we crawl
Bleoo, bleoo and we are sure to get there

Keta by the sea

Sandy soil, where home is with breeze
The sun, has its day to come out after dawn
Every day to come out, on the beach bed

The sea and the lagoon, has a lot to answer for
Playing trading games, of give and take
And give and take, and give and take

At sun down, the beauty of Keta is to be admired
At sun down, the choirs of the waves sing, a' the sand dance
They sing to please, a tradition to uphold

Where I am sat, here surrounded by my family treasure
The winds and breeze, sand and huts to acompany
The lighthouse a' lights of distance mine, in such of liquid gold

Sweet songs from the children, they sing like the waves
The drum beats, of soul food, that has gone silent for while
They echo from my childhood memory, like ghost call

To say Keta, Keta of old reign, come reign again
To say Keta by the sea, where home is with breeze
To say I know you will wake again, "head of the sand"

Your sons a' daughters jump up everyday with excitment
On your beach sand bed in the morning and play to entice
To reach your spirit wake, oh Keta with breeze, awake to please

My Train Journey

I woke this morning bright
In a warm sunny room in Kecskemet
This was nice, nice I tell you

Packed my bags after a week stay in Hungary
And headed to the train station
This was going to be my mood of saddle

Travelled away from my rest bite,
On a train, tracks he lay
He blows his horn, to announce his coming,

Past the trees into the sky that lay
He appears, blowing his horn
To announce his coming

First class was all but taken
In seats,  designated for luxury travel
Bought on priority request

I stood with luggage between my legs
Window peeping for sight seeing
The country side, provides view so perfect

On this train I saw more of the country
Hungary had to offer, in hidden treasures landscape
Farms and houses with their own stories to tell

I made my own stories to tell
Flipping through towns  and country side passed by
Sat on the train from Kecskemet to Budapest

Jumped off, to the horn that blew
For stops, the train driver at my destination  reached
Another horn blow sent the train onwards without me

Bye I said to the beautiful country
And the train that brought me here in travels
Thanks I say for a beautiful journey you gave me
