Life and plans don't mix

I have been running
For so long now on treadmills
It seems I have long forgotten
Why I started running in the first place

They say life is what happens
Outside the plans we make
It waits for no man "pull your weight up son"
To get his house in order

It  is more like, build as you go, clean as you go
But don't forget to lift the carpet up
Every now and then for spring cleaning
A few skeletons piling up, weighing us all down

Half way the game changes not like predicted seasons
Never at the finish line as we expect
To start as new, a fresh page of conundrums
All woven into each other finely abstract and entwined

And life just keeps happening tic toc
John Lennon knew best with wisdom
Guess that made him a lucky man
To have had the realization, awakening call

An understanding on the meaning of life
Life is what happens when you go making plans
Saving the world and exposing the pretentious
And just in a blink of an eye he got shot,  dead and no more

I read somewhere a list of five things
Most people say they regret on their death beds
And sat down to stock take and ponder
A true check list, avenue to compare with

No man lived wiser and spoke with sincerity
Said the ultimate truth without prejudice or falseness
Than a dying man with last breaths
To call his own nothing to lose of this worldly desire

No hold backs
For game change
In last cards played

The five list of regrets on death beds given by a nurse to compare with
1. I wish  I had the courage to live a true life to myself, not the life others expected of me
2. I wish I didn't work so hard
3.I wish I did have the courage to express my feelings
4.I wish I had stayed in touch with my friends
5. I wish that I had let myself be happier

My Dream Home

Wind swept, sea breeze and sunset
The seaside house that stands
From a distance as bespoke main

Built to blend with natures environs
Built to please the manor of the house
By the beachside, facing the waves

Squirrels and birds in the garden, they play
Having away fun, with nuts, hanged on coconut trees
My little wildlife, right here in my backyard lay

The dolphins jump and splash the sea blue
The seagulls swings and dive on hunt
The little blue boat, comes back in before the tide high

Fresh air, fresh breeze and wind swept bliss
My sanctuary stands, as paradise found
This here is my dream home found

My dream home
This here is my dream home found
My dream home stands

Wake Me From Sleep

Wake me up from sleep
Wake me  up from sleep
wake me  up from sleep , sleep, sleep

Ooh
wake me from sleep
wake me from sleep
ooh wake me from sleep

How can I burden you
pure and nature with cries
Of the  artificial hell
that man has created
and named as so

and named as so
and named as so
and named as so, so, so

Civilisation to symbolise an up lift
and named as so,  they say,
better than what nature
has ordained on us, on us, on us,  us

Stripped of  the essence
plugged into the machinery of greed
washers and screws, bolts and nuts
sounds,  and  false gods, blood of oil, diesel

Beastly breaths, deep breaths
of the monstrous creation's waste
choking on nature’s breath, breath

On nature’s breath
On nature’s breath
On nature’s breath

And to the end on the dying bed
what will man be defined by
be defined by, be define by
what will man be defined by

Spat out like the bones that lie on floors
of the beastly den on retirement
another pure soul
begging to be consumed

Into the machinery of manufacture
The manufacture
The manufacture
The manufacture

Into the machinery
of the manufacture

Eagerly waiting to replace
another on plates
of  beastly gauge

lamps to the slaughter
lamps to the slaughter
lamps to the slaughter

The emptiness of an existence
with the lure of climbing up
this ladder of raw
raw, raw, raw, of raw

Has evolution been the curse of man
The curse of man
The curse of man

To have lost the essence of living
if so then wake me back from bed
into a bird, to a rat,  to a frog, turkey
wake me from sleep

Oooh wake me from sleep
wake me from sleep
sleep, sleep, wake me from sleep

Of  a slave to the monstrous beast
wake me from sleep
wake me from sleep

Make me whole again
let me value life again
and appreciate simple things
 before my dying bed  again

Take me back into
the garden of Eden, Eden

Wake me from sleep
wake me from sleep
wake me from, sleep, sleep sleep
wake me from sleep

This is me defined

This is me defined
Sperm, egg, that made me
Weightless burden, entity, realisation
And I swim through the sky

Featherless, elevated
This is me defined
And clouds stands as  my
Stepping stones

To the heavens
I am welcomed
Like back to home, what made me
What I am made of

This is me defined
Opened with glory
I am celebrating
In my moment  of being

This is me defined, different strokes
Individuality, personality, uniqueness
Pictures, flash lights
My crowning glory, identity

Coming of age, destined
This is my celebration
My meaning defined
And the character I am, defined

The Sun Flower Worhsip

The mystery of the sunflower
Lay bare, like a prophet with calling
What we take for granted

And I do worship the sun
Believe me, I do, Stonehenge stands as altar
The sun flower tells me to

The colour of the sky tells me to
The trees, the birds, in the forest
And the weather systems tells me to

And the seasons sing in praise
Winter tells me to
Beach benches tells me to

Believe me I do worship the sun
Like daffodils, bright in fields
Spring tells me to, life tells me to

I do worship the sun
I am a sun worshipper
The sun flower worship

Make Me Human

Light shines to break the hold of dusk
Like opened curtains
New days begins with dawn

Before the last bell rings
And days journey of trails and triumphs
Ends with a tick on calendars, box archived

Neither a borrower or a lender
Should I be, must I be, shall I be, in form
As a permanent state, cast in bronze

I shall build up occasions to celebrate life
For troubles stops when time stops
When life is nothing but a faded past

Let me bleed to testify my existence
Let me strive to appreciate gain
Make me mortal to appreciate living

Let my tears run off my face like road maps
Let rain touch my delicate skin
So I can appreciate the senses

Let me smile and frown
Laughs and yell
To build up my facial muscles

Let me love and hate
Admire, appreciate and envy
Give me my shortfalls and strength

Let me know the true essence of living
And accept mountains as pillars
To be measured by, as stepping stones

In between I mark calenders
To celebrate life, when curtains open
New day begins with dawn

Treasures Of Life

In treasures of life,..
In life I have lived..
In living I have witnessed, through paths of life..
In paths I have walked on, along my journey home..

In things I have seen, in places I have been..
In people I have met, on the long way home..
In days I wish were unending,...
In tears I did cry of joy..
In movies of the tear jerkers,
In t' sight of  my eye, that renders..

In hugs and smell, handshakes and smile..
In the rains  that fall, that wet my soul

In the sun burns I felt, in summers day
In winter's chill, that shivers my bones

In springs breeze,  and sensations on my skin..

On relief of pain for joy,..
Of success and strive..
Of failure and cliff hangers..
Of anxiety and despair..
Of all the memories I have..

And oh so, so treasured..
And when finally I am gone..
And my wish of treasured memories..
Are stored in vaults  awaiting my rebirth..

If ever I am  reincarnated
If ever I make it back to this world
If ever I am reborn again, where ever in this world
If  only you could give me, such treasures of memory

I had before, I would be grateful
On living again on this earth
And having all that beauty to cherish
If only this was part of the package of reincarnation
