God is not Deaf

Pen to paper forget them not
Re-write your devotion
Crumble all and burn them on a stack

For the smoke that comes from
The burns is light, light as a feather
It is the only way our prayers will get to heaven

Our words are with drama, heavy and empty
Dark as the moonless night
Murky as a polluted river

But sweet talk we know best, do best
And after a few cons on the grid
Our words now holds no value in the heavens

Confessions and prayers
Are like tit for tat, I should have known better
No one is on the wining side, trends, side steps

Like a gambler's good luck charm
It is all in his head, how effective it is
Tell him the truth and you are a pessimist

The first step is acknowledgement
We have a problem, Houston!
"We have a problem"

Mega churches with loud speakers
Celebrity super star preachers
Wearing silk cloths that blind the heavens

Talk we know best, flows of the tongue
Regardless be it utopia or dystopia
So long as the cheques are signed

And we pretend to be sincere
In our confessions, all is forgiven
Next step now for the essence

Collections and tight are investments
A con this big, the priest is now a banker
The gates are closed for salvation

Miracles are as; three houses
A luxury car fleet
And a trip to a foreign country

There you have it
God just answered your prayers
Forget about salvation for the after life

Our words are heavy and empty
Re-write your devotion
Crumble all and burn them on a stack

It is the only way
It will get to the heavens
Light, light as a feather

Pen to paper forget them not
Silence with the loud prayers
You know God is not deaf or blind, right.

Like seriously, you know right
Ok, just in case you do not t know
God is not deaf or blind

Who are you fooling, with pretence.

The Three Sons Of Abraham

There is an old family feud, the oldest of all family feuds that matters to this magnitude and the most
damaging because of the validity placed on its essence by rival sides.

Abraham (Ibrahim) is recognized as the father of the Jews, Christianity, as well as Islam since it is believed that Mohammed is a descendant of Ibrahim (Abraham).
The three branches of the same tree, with its many sub branches.

It is sad to say that many have lost their lives on soft differences, never fundamental in justifying the relevance and truthfulness of one of the three branches against the other.

But not being the root or stem means, none of the three branches can claim to be the true religion.
The fact is their differences are all based on cultural norms than religious essence.

Relevance in all this is spirituality which in it self as the root sees religion as a mere path amongst paths
"the way a group of people worship" Lets not forget of Animist, Buddhism and all other religions.

Saddly though it is the tree branches (sons) from the same house of Abraham that holds to ransom death as a consequence for being a descendant
of a sibling in difference of belief #religion #life #philosophy  #culture

A Quota for Heaven

Where do all the good
The bad and the ugly go
When heaven gets full

Queues long a' winding, bending
But only a few places left
As spaces designate

Is it by default
That so many souls
Would be damned

Or was it all planned
From the very beginning
How fair is that on a balanced scale

So what happens
If the scale of preference
Changes tipping to the right

And more than less
Are in for a good run
Keeping a clean sheet

Would the quota
Set as numbers limit
Be reviewed, a clause some where

To accommodate t' born agains
Or are they damned
Regardless of what they do

Are we elemental
So that we loose in weight
The more good we do

To become light as a feather
Do we shrink into tinny grains
Of sand to all fit into heaven

Or stay as large
As a haunted ghost
With sins and anger so heavy

God's Religion

If God made religion
It would be like the air we breathe

With no difference to the type
And amount we breathe

No class or grade no authority
That will oppress the vulnerable

No tags, or symbols
Of affiliation to a clan

Everyone will be equal
With equal access

No chosen ones, tribes
No promise land

Wherever you are on earth
If God made religion

 If man made religion
It would be with difference

Every few miles we travel
With lies and  it would demand we kill

Kill for our difference, our privilege
And in belief of our difference, our promises

Structured to be with authority
And oppress the minority and vulnerable

In society, having no empathy
For those different from us

More like politics, like politics
Just like politics, made of man

Thank God the religion he/she makes
Is called spirituality

Just like the air we breathe
Free for all with direct access

No third parties needed for access
.#Philosophy #Spirituality #Religion

If God made religion
It would be just like everything else

That God has made
Free and natural

Just the way God is
Free and natural

Loving to all
In nature

If God made religion
God's religion

The New Religion

The new religion is not for the masses
Masquerading a form of identifying notions

It is not structured and ruled
It is not rubber stamped to fit

It is not of a singular sign held holy
That warrants the results of opposing sides

It is  not of monastery on distance hills
From the nearest civilisation

Nor is it of this civilisation set
On material gain to class cluster

It is back to the fringes of society
Taking shape in soul searching

It is the modern art and boundaries it break
The self help books for self discovery, realisation

The graffiti on the walls, as street arts that engages
It is the rediscovery of hi-pi without the ho-ha

An enlightenment of understanding, your soul
Found in alignment with the heart and mind

The new religion is not for the masses
But for t' one who found how to live, life at peace

Breathe Easy

Breathe easy and not in  haste
Hastily you might breathe a chunk and choke

The air is full of such particles to avoid
Attracted by the eagerness of haste

Time out, if all seems so overwhelming
Time is only but  a passage path

The routes are different
All with their own angles

Ask the man with a rush down the road
How he got his rushes

Breathe easy and not in a haste
Hastily you might breathe a chunk and choke

When Angels Walk The Earth

Angels do not come in the light of day
They do not visit the brightest of spots

Not with wings white feathers that glow
Not with blue eyes and golden silk

On the streets with hoods, ghettos
In the freight of corners and worry

In the cold hang where the homeless sleep
Angels do not come in the light of day

Clinically sanitised in church rooms
And decorated windows, altars with candles

Angels do not come with wings
All majestic and on the holiest of days

Where plants weather and lose their green
A beggars single shoe ever so cherished

Angels do not come on special occasions
They were named K9 and have always been here

Back to the future

A door stands in the midst of day
Waiting to be opened
I had a dog called who-nose
Oh what does the future hold

Knock knock is a step away
A step close on door steps
From the future, back to the future
Oh what does the future hold

With time jingle on tic toc
And events set to take place
I had a dog called who-knows
Oh what does the future hold

The new is always wrapped in anxiety
Jump jump on presents wrapped
So much excitement, of things to come
Oh what does the future hold

To do thus, places to be, people to see
My dog was called who's nose
This and that, etc etc
Oh what does the future hold

In these times, times like this
The soothsayer is favoured the most
With claims to have an incline on
Oh what does the future holds

Beating around the bush on guess work
More like with a sneak eye open to study reaction
Did I tell you, I had a dog called wholeness
Oh what does the future hold

To read one's body language, like a dog tail
And say I see, oh yea I see, I saw, oh yea it's back
Well of course you see, stupid
Oh what does the future hold

Now even the Mayan's are at it as well with 2012
Oh well, but nah too fancy for me, much fuss is made
I would own a dog and call it whoopees
Oh what does the future hold

In any case, we will all, all see
Soon enough, just soon enough
Bear witness soon enough
On what the future holds

Just like the days before and now today
And tomorrow follows with patterns of before
The name of my dog is knows-how
Oh what does the future hold

Merry Christmas

Christmas carols
Ding dong merrily merrily sang
By the beautiful choirs of ordinary people

The angels look, they listen with delight
As this day the heavens and earth
Are synchronised to rejoice

Family reunions, presents and gifts
Bickering to the side, time out on call
Lets all hug and make up, as one

A feast for all to rejoice in
Love, health and hope to share
Have a merry Christmas, me dears

Philosophy of logic

If only it was possible to bring, them back
It would all just be, a lot easier for questions
For questions, to have answers and less of
Perceptions and assumed notions of what was meant

I have got a tall order and for so many
With so many to answer for
A tall order, I tell you
A very tall order indeed

I have witnessed doubters, where followers hold faith
I have seen alliances formed on pledges
To die for a school of thought
From opposing ends

I hear others claim knowledge and profess
As masters in expert, of sought
Foremost in supposed fields, used to describe
Depict personas, who lay claim as being in the know

What do you know, truly what do you know
Were you t', at the EVENT, present during doctrine a' acts
To lay mastering of what was meant in deeds
And said in words to affirm and associate, I ask

Can you be called as witness in court
Called upon and swear to tell the truth
The whole truth, nothing but the truth
Truly, truthfully without sway

If only it was possible and time machines
Had long being invented
To answer once and for all, and in frequent
To make come backs, to reaffirm

For the grape vine, can not be left
As a caretaker, for too long
Even with the simplest of answers, without distort
Without, finding ways to bend notions

In the house of the courts, reasonable doubt is raised
And thus, all that is known can not be asserted
Said as fact, of a way, a school of thought or another
To prove one’s concept, right or wrong

This is my philosophy of logic
Did Shakespeare, write all he is accredited with?
Did Jesus walk on water and feed so many
Did, etc, etc, etc, on reasonable doubt

This is my philosophy of logic
Taking it all in, with a pinch of salt
Mind you, I am not discrediting notions
I am merely just conceptualising, adding my own take

Taking A Swipe

Taking a swipe
At society
At religion
At politics
At the establishment

You see, it's not like,
I am trying to take a swipe
Just taking a swipe
And it follows to digest

I read the history of grounds that stand
With the black rock to hold
I read the history, of how religion was born
That paganism is the oldest of them all

To have Christianity and Islam
Hold to gratitude  less of what is needed
T' figureheads  back-bones "women" of strong men
The very pillars of genesis in faith

I read the history of ground zero
And the symbol of the "stone "
I read the set-up of beginning, start up
And who it represented  in mixed fellowships

I read about the philosophy
They hold or once did
To open up to the world around them
The peace in messages, harmony they preach

Not like I am trying to
Take a swipe
Just taking a swipe

Not today, with fortresses built
From Rome to Mecca, to Jerusalem and beyond
Where those without common share, in beliefs
Of faith are blocked from entry's access

Not like I am trying to take a swipe
Just taking a swipe,
In doing so, in doing so

Are we not to love thy neighbour
Why close doors and lock with hatred
In keeping thy neighbour out

Left cold at the mercy of wickedness
In "I don't want to know", as a philosophy
I am really now just taking a swipe, swipe, swipe

Taking a swipe

At the establishment
At society,
At religion
At politics
And all above

A Funny Poem

I know, my punctured cold fingers feel numb and unused
Winter holds grip of it, for it  has been a while, a long while
Cobwebs have gathered, like gloves and claimed ownership

A long while, since I wrote a poem
A love poem, a fun poem
A family and friends poem

A summer poem, a winter poem
A poem about autumn and spring
I know it has been a while, a long while

And  my fingers have all gone cold, no jerk on key pads
My mind follows asking for answers " why carnage"
For why would I have starved such cherished tree

And watch it weather and gloom
It follows my bonsai tree in faith
I got from love on summers day

It died before autumn came
I lost a fish as well this period
These days my fish tank looks so deem

I can no longer tell by character any more
How each of my golden fish does behave
I know my cold fingers feels numb

It has been a while, a long while , influenced by t' status quo
Like darkness hold, of  days in the pole
A long while, since I poured my heart out warm

It has been a while
Since I wrote a love poem
A happy poem, a funny poem

Illusion of thought

I see a thousand lies titillating
A thousand more hanging
Told in history books to accept

And science presents me
With factual, factual lies
More of the same in stories told

I see a thousand lies
My eyes, at it, conspiring to tell
In pictures view in optical illusion

And religion holds the holly grail
Of all that is said, in chinese whispers
Two thousand years, of some whispers

I see a thousand lights
Different colours of creed  in view
To be against, differences we share

Yet with fingers stretched  to the point
Held between the pictures view
Both top and bottom, becomes the same

I see a thousand lies
My eyes plays illusions on view
And others go fanatic on beliefs

But most I see
Most of all, close on view
Is a shape of truth, though be it abstract

Looking close enough
It sits in clear view
Hidden by optical illusion

Awaiting Answers

I am out of coverage area
Sometimes you aught to be
To find your self, with meaning

The buddhist prefer a solitary area
Or would avoid uttering words for years
In meditating mood, for enlightenment

On journeys back I took
In the clouds I saw a rabbit, a sea horse
Land-horse and a boar

Meanings, I still don't know
But for seeing such beauty in the clouds
Aught to be a blessings of some sought

A silver lining across the pond of life
A sign of thee, from thee
To reflect on others to come, I'm sure

First signs count
I saw them, there, there
Those silver lining, I saw them

The Sun Flower Worhsip

The mystery of the sunflower
Lay bare, like a prophet with calling
What we take for granted

And I do worship the sun
Believe me, I do, Stonehenge stands as altar
The sun flower tells me to

The colour of the sky tells me to
The trees, the birds, in the forest
And the weather systems tells me to

And the seasons sing in praise
Winter tells me to
Beach benches tells me to

Believe me I do worship the sun
Like daffodils, bright in fields
Spring tells me to, life tells me to

I do worship the sun
I am a sun worshipper
The sun flower worship

Dangerous Intelligence

Brain in a jar
Brick wall built
I know best

Whales on reverse parking
Elephants doing a spin on break dance floor
Ever heard an educated man, being so naive?

There is nothing more dangerous than that, I say
When such beings, go fanatical with their beliefs
Refusing to budge, crazy on the subjects

Life is transformational, seasons too
We sleep, we wake, we grow an inch
Or lose an inch, depending on stage

On the line of the ageing  scale, where
We stand on reference, as referenced post
'Don't take the mickey your time will come son'

In-between all that
We evolve, we adapt, we upgrade
And learn our lessons in, class out, school out

Graduation stands, just as symbols of passage
University of life, the obstacle course
Now that is where, real life lessons are learnt

True story, everything here on earth
Changes shape to adapt,  "in thinking"
Water from solid, liquid to vapour and reversed

Even the earth tectonic plates
Are in constant change  on route
Shifting now is the horn of Africa

But when a man with educated intelligence
Holds thoughts with no sway
Like brain in a jar, brick wall built

Like the stand still
Of the revolving door, earth
Innocent people end up suffering
