In the mix of entanglement

Standing at the cross roads
With arrows, pointing on all directions

I was born and laid an egg from the womb
Push me close away too far away, push me away

Love me hate me on passion rage union
Love me for I was rightfully right, wrong, right

Choke me on allowed breath
Allow me inversion of my private space

Brave panic with confidence wobble
Embrace let go and hold loose tight

Entangled ropes straight sanity of discourse
We hold to pull opposing knots tied

Oh how did we get near this far
Find me where salt water and fresh do mix

And I would have roses to give to love
Who came from the south going to the south

As we love and quarrel and burn bridges
To entangle and be torn, only to miss with heart's lonesomeness

Finding the words

Quietly I profess to acknowledge
Covert to announce in whispers, I love you
How do I share this with you

The Unfamiliar Acquaintance

I am the one, you passed by yesterday
The neighbour you said hello to, or not
The nods and smiles you gave, or not

The gentle echoes from the distance you heard
Like a visit to my Keta village, on the shores
Of the volta and dawn drum beats, that melody

That melody, that wakes the soul to feed, or not
I am the lover you once had, made promises to
Your first love or not, second love, third love, or not

The beggar on the street you tossed a coin to, or not
The neighbour's child with scruffy hair, or not
The kid you willingly shared your all with, or not

With names familiar to you, or not
And memories of innocences, or not
The childhood best friends forever, or not

Still unsure, what emphases to place in knowing
Whether to call thee a friend or an acquaintance
Whether to make thee a stranger, with a hint of familiarity

But you know to recognise comrades, and lay claim to relations
As opulence favour door ways of subjects, until now with surety
Surely you must be, don't you remember, with tones changed

To Love a' To Hold

An over whelming embrace I feel, drawing emotions
Like that of a beautiful film coming to an end
Opening tear drops, from the eye lid

As rain wash pure, it draws out feelings
So emotional,  that I can not hold back
But to express, like possession

Like the joy of seeing love, loving you
Of lovers missed, to have been reunited again
With surprise; walking through doors unexpected

Emotionally driven, from the very depths of the soul
A jump of joy, the tightest of hug, to love and to hold
A child's grip of an adult's hand, this for assurance of safety

So good to see you again my dear
Old friends, old love, oh life, old joy
So good to see you again

And this is essence, instinct of being
Shaw-shank redemption, like Lean on me
A yearn for repeat play, ecstasy to relive in t' moment again

Sometimes the answers sought for are so simple
Yet so complicated, that no words can make sense of
The intense pull, sensation of the heart, in defining life

And I felt the blood rush into my head, to wake
I cried out solemnly with joy, to define my essence
I loved to share the strength within me

I opened up to allow my humanity's relief
To worship it's feed from divine
I know life,  I know joy, I know love

Emotions drawn
So lean on me I have got soul
And feed of my essence

Rains on the Island

Mermaids are made of fiction
Stories told to delight our imagination
Like the flying little fairies

Who parade with joy in back gardens
So many in lists of creatures to mention
All magical and wondrous in ways there are

To cast a spell of enchantment
So many children stories, inspired
To have been told of fiction

But in Europe laid an island
Anglo, hair tin distance from the main land
Where the tears of the clouds poured persistent

Poured on so much, on the regular
It turned the inhabitants into mermaids
Such a place like a fish tank, England always wet

Subjective Perspective

A blow with a word strikes deeper
Than a blow with a sword
Words are all we have

Famously, frivolously, chitty chitty
My girl says I make up words
Sometimes I leave it blank, empty head in a room

Meaning, this thing, "this thing" being my favourite line
Fills in the gap on thoughts, of  my missing words, read my mind
Ok ok, time out, ours to hold, on hold, I remember word

Lets see, in pictures view
Mirror, mirror, on the dictionary wall of words
To whom is the word, best to behold

This hold adds meaning in definitions expressed
Thesaurus gives options, go on make my day
On words to replace with, then with, them with

Poets like big words, again with confusing conundrums
As if methaphors are not
Hard enough to decipher

So brain works, brain food
Brain storm, tic toc, tic toc,  sudoko
You should know by now

Already by now this is me ranting.
But to t' point to be made, by now, on words with words
Chaos and order are two sides of the same coin

So who holds order, ready in exchange for chaos
Curiosity always gets the better of man in exchange
I am heading towards order with word, patience,  me love

The thing is, this thing is
Poetry like abstract painting
Needs subjective, perspective, rendition

For the individual to make their own
Mirror, mirror on the wall, this thing, with words
Who is the most beautiful, of them all, to be used "subjective"

Note: if you understood this poem, then you did better than I did

Love In Words

If I stand close enough, a' I look into your eyes
I can see the world in your eyes
And where between stories I belong

Like road maps between stories
Where I come in to play my part
In your life stories told

In your dreams, in your making
Next to you, hand in hand, forever
Wiping your tears, sharing your smiles

Making avenues for future plans
All in the twinkle of your eyes
Like a view in a snow globe, hold

If I stand close enough
I can explain the perplexed mystery
That surrounds the feeling we have

If I stand close enough, just close enough
I can ease your daunting anticipation
And explain with acts, how love holds

If I stand close enough
Just close enough, I can tell you
How much I love you

The Tapestry of Art

If in paintings Picasso and Miret
Van-gogh can be painted, woven in words
Decision, "indecision" subjective in abstract meaning
To have stories told in such fine finesse of elegance

A thousand and one  Arabiain nights
Shahrazad carved in stones of literature
Like presidents on mount Rushmore
To stand freely the test of time

If words can be transformed
Into sound, music
And movement with pureness
Rhythm of grace

And "fate" in signs of language, meaning
Is projected by the delicate ballerina on floors
With richness of old Paris in fashion
English Shakespearian stories enacted

From Russia with love of the art, gift parcels
Signs the man to assemble
Ballet Diaghilev impresario
To bring the "golden age of ballets russes"

I  would add poetry to glorify  the options
The essence of art and sophistication
Define civilisation as the cross roads layered
Between complexity of varied cultures influenced

Seasoned to be infused, like a collage
Presented as a treasure of humanity
A master piece of delicacy
The crown jewel of enlightenment

I would add poetry, to its richness adored
To define the tapestry of art, civilisation of man
Which no man can own as possession hidden in vaults
No race can solely lay claim to, as history tells

Five Daughters

The White Powder; Happy Dust
In support of :http://www.iceniipswich.org.uk/

I am alone, lost in a dark place
It is my love of life, t' brought me to y'r door step
It is the excitement you bring
That lured me into your seduction

Then at night;  scooch, you broke me in two
On addictions, my nostrils bleed, for your nose candy
You made me walk in the cold at night, junky all alone
You sold me for cheap, to the devil's wickedness

It is my love of life, the need  for joy
That brought me, desperate to your door step
It is my love of life, that brought me here
Here, onto scared unhallowed grounds

While I watch conniption, my hysteria of loneliness
In outer skin, out of body, seeing myself
About to comatose in sensation
Felt betrayed by your ghostly powder

Left on the coroner's lonely cold table
Stripped of  my dignity, to bare
Long before being bisected by autopsy
To be identified by family, as empty

Your white powder,
Stardust, white lady, robbed me
You robbed me of my life,
You stole away my dreams

The following below is written by the family of: Paula Clennell
I want your head on my shoulder
I want to breathe you in and know that you are safe
I want to see your, feet up watching telly
I want to tell you, not to swear
Angel girl, come back to me

Written by: R.I.P Annette Nicholls
Me and my adorable man
Will one day walk hand in hand
Away from this place
For the rest of our days
For the rest of our lives
No more this, no more that
No more the other
Me and my brave, brave man
Nights in with the telly
Days out with the family
A walk in the park
See me the sister
See me the daughter
Perhaps in time, a wife
So Proud
See me , a mother.

In The Know

No man was born with know
No man died, crossed over
To the other side, as master
No man did as slave

And I came to know
To love and bare witness
To call as my own
To live with and appreciate its glow

No man, was born with know; listen
To love and to hold
To commit whole heartedly
To open up, with honesty

No man, gained in wholesum
While stood a feet out from wash
No man felt love, real love
Without appreciating love's burn

While feet hangs in paddle,
Dangling indulgence of  what
Water gives in comfort
Scared to get in for fear of drown

Non ever so enjoyed,
Really enjoyed like the feel
In dive down deep, naked
In rivers for a dip

No man lived and knew love
While sat commiting half baked
No man did know joy
While holding back to misery

While holding back to fear
And fantasy no man got gained
While holding back to emotion
Like stone motionless, for just in case
