Estate houses
Moving wheels
My life evolves and rotates, growing up
Around round and in a moving wheel
My house is a moving wheel
Designated to form part of the drain
So it becomes mine for so long
Until such time,
Unknown and wish not to, so soon
Too soon, so soon, not so soon
When the big tractors come
And the men with safety helmets proceed
With bureaucratic halted projects, brown envelopes
My life is in a moving wheel, my house is
And it is my pride of place, joy to have
To call home, some where home
Estates of communities, us as together safe
My neighbor has no gated wall, no windows or doors
We live in an open air community
And my hope and pray and sincere wish
Everyday I wake to dress for school
Is that my house of moving wheels, my life
Would still be there with mother
Oh mother, when I get back, oh mother
My home is in a drain pipe, my joy to have

No natural predators
Hear me now, there are no natural predators
Here, on this here national parks reserve
Evidently not, as far as the eye can see
Thus let loose on the land are
Rodents that multiply in multiples
And ascend to the throne of the jungle
Copycats and imitators
Forged notion of pride and value
Ubiquitously plagiarizing concepts of foreign
Silly-billy-infallible and unknowing
Of the backdrop and shortfalls reasons
History and ideology that surrounds, movements
No shame shown of disgruntlement held by occupiers
Jammy characters and panto in fancy wear
With side tracked vocabulary of Monty python
They act oblivious, to the distraction they cause
Lost on them are ideologies fostered
Legacy to define reasons to maintain status
They demand the blindness of man
To honour their lavishness of delusion
While they exhibit their exploits out in the open
As they rob in daylight to starve subjects
There are no natural predators left
To calve their vulgar so open
No standing institutions independent to act
So they run free on the savannah
With such insolent pomposity of vigor
I pray for the predators return, for accountability
I pray for their natural predators return of probity
To institute checks and measures in the system

A deeper cut than most
Over tea and biscuit
In the comfort of friendship
Here was a story I came to know
Some cuts are deep
Deeper cuts than most
These are lessons I learnt from tales
I read a story about a brave soldier
Who crossed the sea to mainland Europe
To fight the enemy who threatened sanity
This was for a just cause
Where the defined line of good and bad
Was drawn clear on the conscience of soldier's mind
Non the less, through the trenches
Barb-wires and the rain of mortar fire
The sounds that darkens the heavens from day to night
He and men like him that stood on the front line of war gates
Lost how it was to be, once innocent to feel pain, detached
Tears stopped falling, giving way to numbness
While friends he played cards at night with
Laid torn, scatted and without life on muddy grounds.
The next day as causality, to add on, a long list
A name was recorded on the memorial plank
He w' be remembered as a hero a statue would stand
His honor, this was a just war, I say and all agree
No tears would jolt rain on the floor we stand on
There is non left to pour on souls gone
He's was, a life given for a good cause, a just cause
Yet a letter from home, tore alone soldier's dam down
This was a cut too deep to bare, to say two weeks
Had passed to the day his only son died, it read
He fell to his knees, to yell out at breaking point
No war fields, trenches and sight seen
Could numb this surge of pain
The tears he held back for so long, as brave
To maintain composure, could only pour out to flood
"Do not show weakness to the enemy, it dampens moral"
He said forgive me a court martial
My son is dead, dead and gone, while I was away
Fighting for justice, some cuts are just too deep bare

A heroes poem
Produce a hero; a hero is needed
Produce a knight to court as stand
One with value more than silver's worth
I want to write an epic poem
Something with a hero defined
Taking on the gates of irons; Illuminati of stupidity
Battling through obstacles drawn
Mansions, castles, skyscrapers tuxedo
Dressed decorated in uniforms suit
Neatly ironed with medals
Cuff-links a' tie for oppression of the common people
Tittles and prestige to intimidate with bluff
That serves to warn, to weaken, oppositions
They stand unopposed, on open parks gather
They stand blustering with audacity
For oppositions lost their tooth, and essence to fight
Rushing to stock; hording on self preservation
To save their skins, cowards are they, that joined the orgy
But I want to write an epic poem for a hero
Put blemish and cuts on the hero defined
Who went against, and stood against self preservation
Stood to fight the establishments candy
Charity of a spirit held, like Joan of Arc or Anna Hazare
To be victorious against the status qua
The needy stand at the tilting edge of oblivion nearing
Darkened shadows of deserted island, liberty cries
Stranded with stones to call out on S.O.S for rescue
I want to write an epic poem
To give the stranded and modern enslaved a hero of hope
And to stop lady liberty's sorrow so deep
She holds her hands up to hide her face
Obstructing her beauty that fades with unjust
For into her hands are tears she cries
So I want to write an epic poem
To produce a hero, a hero of valor, a hero is needed
For lady liberty is filled with sorrow
And earth is held to ransom
Being extorted and threatened
With black mail and corruption
Produce a knight to court as stand
One with value more than silver's worth
I want to write an epic poem
Something with a hero defined
Taking on the gates of irons; Illuminati of stupidity
Battling through obstacles drawn

Streets Graduations
It is like the darkness of winter
Teddy bears laid cold on street corners, comatose to dead
Teddy bears laid cold on street corners, comatose to dead
Flowers beside, letters on walls and faded messages
Hollow grounds, on walk ways depicted, clap! just the one sound
This is a story rooted from summer’s day, long gone
Empty bottles, cold snow infested sites, with frost
Ink melting off paper backs
Faded names on graffiti walls and messages lost
Faded names on graffiti walls and messages lost
This day started long on a summer’s day
Graduation stages set, another name called
Awaiting a turn on the ceremony of tears
How many; a face of the unknown to have turned up
How many; a face of the unknown to have turned up
On my graduation, a crowd might gather
This is the only time, if I am lucky to see care
I would never have this much attention on focus
I would never have this much attention on focus
And teddy bears would lie cold, on streets on winter’s day
Before is gone, all in silence, with breath I took
Before is time of yesterday, with it's passage, my will to opt
This was my graduation on a summer’s day
On here, where I stood, this here my last call
On here, where I stood, this here my last call
Nobody looks no more at teddy bears lay, "no crips, no bloods"
The flowers are all, but without life, dark
Faded writing on pages and empty bottles of Hennessey
Hold hollowness of my graduation turn
Hold hollowness of my graduation turn
Gone is the voice of my time, this is my graduation
Somebody clapped, a mother's son gone and I had a graduation
With writings on the walls, this is me sat at "rose cottages" wrinkled roses Teddy bears, faded messages left, winter absorbs inks from writing

The Protest
When the locals, gather as workmen
In the canteens of so little
To meal themselves with warmth of tea
Ready to line a rally on the city lane
No political manoeuvre, of sweet talk
Would spin the concerns of the masses
The streets will soon be covered with the worker aunts
Picketing, bickering, demanding their bare necessity
From the suited, out of touch, politicians
Who still peddle lip service
And talking tough
On jettison horse dung
When the bite hits had on pockets
And tightened belts just leads to
More tightening belts, to job loss
While the cream at the top get 49.9% pay rise
Just to say they were considerate enough
To the little people, not to hit the 50% mark
And local men, worker bees and aunts
Ponder on outcomes, sleeps not at night
Fearing what tomorrow holds
This wave of unemployment
Will soon grace our doors, it is a dark cloud
Like the black death's epidemic
Do they think we protest
For the fun of it, just as a right to
Talking it down, as just a phase, like a youthful rebellion
24 hours of protestation and it will all be over
These aunts, bees would be back at work
And nothing would have changed, but just a dump squib
Except for the enforcement of the cuts
Snobbish to the little people
Who's survival are foreign to their concept
Politicians should be jailed
For gross professional "suit without substance"
Criminal misconduct of mismanagement
To have brought about the death of the economy
Just as the doctor faces his for t' same in a sense
Why get away with Hippocratic oaths
Instead t' behave with pomposity, t' write books to sell after
About their misdeeds selling out each other
Duplicity on reflection, like thieves without honour, is new
Do you think we line on rally lanes in mob
Just as a procession, a fashion statement
Just because we have the right to
And we like doing the river dance
Do you think, really I ask
Mate, seriously do you really think

We Are The 99%
There is no democracy "Limp up"
If my vote for the left or the right
Leaves me out of pocket and without a job, no joke
When the police see my right to demonstrate
As an act of aggregation towards the state
And not a wake up call to the cry of it's citizens
There is no democracy when private institutions
Puppet the machinery of society's fabric
To their own private gains, fooling the masses
When secret organisations are formed
Within governments and titled special privileged groups
With a get out of jail card to walk on water
And who is to take the moral high ground
When the west sleeps in the same bed
With all that, we as a civilised society, should stand against
Are meant to be differentiated from
There is no democracy when communism
And capitalism blur the lines of who owes who, I O U
So today, I will wear my Guy Fawkes mask
And march to Tahrir square, The Wall street, Hong Kong
Leicester square, in Greece, Japan, in Thailand
For I am one of the 99 percent, left out
And I demonstrate for my right to be, let in
To hold the institution of governance to account

Wearing Bankers Costume
Hey, Mr Banker, sat between metals
On the fast lane, looking good , to "breach" trust
Looking down at the worker bee , I see you
Fear mongering, with biggity, uppity, in attitude given
I know an extinction of a kind, it burns "ember"
I know your kind
All emperors fall, like Rome , life is "tentative"
Even high priest loose their status
For taking the piss, mickey, my wallet
And you think you are to be any different
Otherwise the wiser, holly anointed
For you've been made the care taker of the blood line
Holding chalices of society's veins
Confused of your status given
Acting like the naked king
Why does the fool always think
He can put a wool over my eyes
Wearing costumes to fright
We only just made you, saved you
And no one crowned you
Holding society to ransom
On the account of your essence
I know an extinction of a kind
I know your kind, deja vu of a kind
On the fast lane, looking good , to "breach" trust
Looking down at the worker bee , I see you
Fear mongering, with biggity, uppity, in attitude given

The Starkey Syndrome
Rotten tooth, sugar rush, false melons standing
The dangerous mind of an educated prof
Lured in, as people sit and listen, to be brainwashed
Mayhem is one step away from cause of curse
In a glass house of illusion, fish tank bubble babbling burst
Anarchy's day in court and when situations hit the fan, well
Many men talk on baseless opinion, blaspheming
Silly you, silly them, silly I, with nodding heads
Who done it, I heard it; allowed to stand on stages
Did I hear right, replay, on commentary, no apologies
Riding on waves of misinformation, buying in
He is talking turkey, and now turkey feels insulted
Names with labels, as him, as her
Said to be educated, with added letters of CBE, FSA Phd
To his name, graduated on fairy dust
Like a false prophet, with more wealth seeking more
Legitimising bullshit on air time disguised commercial venture
Educated on expired intellectual overdose of dossier
Took the pill of nonsensical
And went crazy in straight suits to present
Barmy, chit chatting loony on air time
What's that, were you never told of the norm
In this day and age, delirious qualifies as affirmation
Now I feel insulted, bottling rage to explode in replies
Its go wash your mouth time, as take back, time out
To have opened his eyes to the sight of reality
Last pill, what is he going on about

The Storm
After the dust craze settles
Forward, on passage, we all move
Behind the storm in circles
And in circles we await the next encounter
Between then and now, and now's encounters
We stand on reflection with thinkers cup
Tasked to prepare for the next encounter
It is our key performance indicators
And we are told to know in fact
That impact will suffocate and drawn
The man who did nothing,
After first encounter
He relayed on the tree
For protection in the first storms encounters
And hopes to do the same again
To have just quenched the fire at the edge
But did nothing from the source
The spark, the reasons triggered ignored
And built no bunker to protect his own
That man will suffocate
In the mist of the storm

Burns On Both Sides
An eye for an eye
Will make the whole world
Go blind (Gandhi)
Burns on both sides
Like skid marks to announce rage
We are going to be heard; allute
Slow down on emotion, son
Let strategy catch up with intent
And see reasons and consequences unfold
Dust storms in desserts are not the norm
Like everything else, diminishing returns
They have their reasons, season to rise
And quietly they mellow, down and fold
Smokes always start with sparks, to say
Something is not right, somewhere down the line
But the wise do not burn down houses
To find missing keys, "set back"
To open doors, of welcome home
Burns on both sides
Each to the side they stand on, stand for
Against opposing thoughts, leafy streets
But in battles both sides lose on count
A step back to see with reason
Avoiding set back on strategy, blind spots
It is foolish to walk in the dessert
While the storm brews at it's worse
You must be new around here, wet behind the ears

Men Of The World
So it came to be
That we were drenched, born on the 8th day of the week
Between the 7th and the 1st
Stood in door ways of no man's land
Between borders, with no country to call our own
So it came to be
So it came to be
That we shared seats, side by side with the Dalai lama
We travelled like gypsies, immune to pigeon holes
With the freedom to roam so it came to be
Given keys to cities across the world
But no place to call our own
And a thousand souls radiated, so it came to be
Came out to stand, in the sun, they made a stand
But none were found when it began to rain
And on lonely roads, we walked alone
Across the seas, on foreign lands
So it came to be
So it came to be, this roads are to be like dots on landscape
Our path in this world, as men of the world
So few will remember, so it came to be

London's Burning
From Croydon to Clapham
Lewisham, to Peckham
Bristol, Liverpool to Birmingham
Slow down your rage
Oh where art thou Mr Boris
Mr Cameron, Mr Clegg "pretender"
Mr Politician
A stone in puddles
Someone light a match
And now London is burning
The politicians sat on holiday benches
Talking tough, they're talking tough
And now London is burning
Lets not take things for granted
A man died a life was lost, clouded in mystery
And now London is burning
Engulfed in flames, anarchist and looters
Frustrated youths like wild animals, let loose on riot
With old sanctuaries, of youth centres, closed on austerity
And now London is burning
Crisis stands as the seat in town, spreading havoc, to beyond
New chic in town, jobless youth with no prosperity
And now the markets are burning
Bulls into bears in market stands, countries on default
Paper stock losing value overnight, sell, sell, sell
Oh ready steady panic, hardship engulf
And now London is burning
And now London is burning

Casting The Dice (Aftermath of Thanks Giving)
I can make a thousand people happy
But only a hundred rich, with baskets full
While I cast seeds scorned and dried out
To foster and germinate riches from harvest
It turns into cry for the masses
For a dollar for a thousand
Is a 1000 in dollars for one in rolex and some
And desperation need not want not
Carries a greater weight in return
Of appreciation and recognition
They say, the poor man
In the sun is richly happier
Than the rich man in winter
He learns to only want
What he needs, and craves, none
"and winter is cold to the bone without warmth"
Not what is beyond his need, his cup
Appreciates the gravity
Of what earth stage he stands on
Relativity is the golden rule
Pareto says, no party can be better off
Without making another
Worse off by the same amount
And the rich is with greed, and more
For he has acquired the taste for it
And the poor is with need, for just his feed
I can make a thousand people happy
But only a hundred rich
Who then values, what gift I offer more
But only a hundred rich, with baskets full
While I cast seeds scorned and dried out
To foster and germinate riches from harvest
It turns into cry for the masses
