For the crown and glory

Heavy is the head that wears the crown
My neck hurts, into my shoulder blade
And this reminds me of the old days
I used to carry water, fetched in buckets load

Heavy is the head that wears the crown
A' dreams a' frustration are of t' same clan
W' ambitions a' strive a' mountains we climb
To lose a night of sleep, for t' cause, for t' cause

Heavy is the head that wears the crown
A' the man that made it to the summit, tops
Holds more value in t' story he tells
Of hardship gained on struggling roads
A' few words he spends gloating on his success

Heavy is the head that wears the crown
That wears the crown, that wears the crown
For t' path he walked and sacrifices he made
That wears the crown, heavy is the head that wears the crown

In Between Lives

I will have to call out, the pigeons
And ask if they would be prepared
To carry out my wish

Send a message, from the trenches
To my love ones
Tell them I am in-between lives

Making a transformation
From what once was
To what is to be

This stage reached has been long
Like an overdue pregnancy
And I wait impatient for deliverance

Though I know sometimes on wise thoughts
I sneeze on rush, results of which
Scatters my gold dust, among sea sands

I try to harness the virtue  of patience
Learning to thread the needle's eye
I am made of more, much more I know it

Much more than what I hold
Loose change so precious
I fear even losing those sometimes

Am I to believe the oracle?
Who looked into my arms and for told
She giggled like small prints before authoring words

If so, and I am to take one, in short cuts
From her  in gifts she offers
Then another I would be forced to take

For in her baskets, in prices to pay
She has within hidden rotten apples
Just behind the ripest of them all

So no, I choose to make it on my own
I only ask if you will be prepared
To carry out my wish, oh friend of feathers

Send a message to love ones
To tell them I am in-between lives
Closer to deliverance

I Want More Cheese

I want more, much more
If I go for less, I am less of
Still needing, much more
To fill, fulfil my half full cup

I want more, much more
More to be said, to be done
Much more to be gained, on cheese
So I sweat for the harvest, escaping traps; I want more

I want a hip more of stardust
Not, nope a pinch less of stardust
Much more diamonds, gold-dust
Much more riches, to make t' king envious

Sparkle in star lights, my ownership set
Bright up the stars right where
I look to go past, beyond in cheese hunt
And claim my own, on what t' eyes sees

Like Pavarotti's need, rest his soul, for more
Pasta, pasty, pastry , cookies..
Cakes, muffins, just much more Muffins..
Before the opera for curtains close

I am not greedy, like a greedy person..
So I wouldn't begrudger others in steps..
In stepping stones, steps made of them..
To fulfil their dreams, climbing ladder

I did rather give a helping hand..
To the deserved of them
Be nice to them..
Appreciate, what effort they invest

But in fulfilments of, self fulfilment...
I need to do more,
Want more, much more..
On my own accord, in dreams

To cross bars of milestones
Set in pavements laid..
Of ambitions, set
I just want more

Much more, way more
Set on aspirations gained..
To walk these paths
Of achievements made..

I want more, much more,..
If I go for less, I am less of..
So I want more,  way much more..
Than a greedy person
