Having a word with the IT team
On missing words, malfunctions
Sometimes with glitch..
Sometimes
I know a thousand words..
Speeches endless and some more..
And my brain must be on auto-tune..
Cruise drive 90, effortlessly
Electronic waves streams on disposition
Sometimes I wander..
Where it all comes from.
With joy a'relish, a little bit of pomposity...
Shooting through my cerebro ..
Like high way speeds, shooting stars..
On autobahnen, spaghetti junctions
A quick decision is made..
Sometimes, someone just turns the light off..
And its factory shut down, like closed shop..
Words stammering, sentence left with foolish holes..
Wider than canyons, reasoning in concision void..
And I tell you, that this is frustrating..
More so, in the middle of conversations..
When points are just to be made..
And silly billy, thinks to pull the plug..
Lord have "mercy"
Those are times I wish I could..
Open doors, step into brain box..
And have a word with the IT team ..
Why the hell is my systems slow to day..
Upgrade, reboot, just get me going already
While audience await, perplexed
And I am stood,
Like a fraud mumbling, mumbo jumbo
Wondering what's going on inside my head
Yes, we've all had those moments; I don't know how many times I've come to a complete stop in a sentence and gone, "Heavens, what was that word again?" Nicely done.

We've all been here waxing on something we lose the thread of.

ReplyDeleteI'm digging this.
ReplyDeleteI love your take on this. I wonder the same thing about myself at times, too... what was that?
ReplyDeleteI have not seen that SPARKS album cover in years!
ReplyDeleteKimono My House was avant-garde ... now seems quaint.
Great hit, Happy TT!

Have you tried switching it off and then on again?
ReplyDeleteIt kinda does look like our brain on computers might look like. I never know what is going to come out of my brain and so wish that I could talk to it at times or just get an IT guy to fix it. That would be very nice.
ReplyDeleteGreat brain poem to show us how little we truly know. Good use of Inside for Theme Thursday, thanks for playing. Looking forward to see what you do next week.
God bless.
what is more frustrating when our minds are slow or the computer is slow?
