My Time Keeping

Apologies,
For the sun made me so
The sun is to be blamed, I say

The Sun, the sun,
Takes a minute of my time,
Adds a minute, on agreed ran-de-vou

See Man;
Let me explain
In tutorial's lectures,
Of body clock's weakness, in the sun

I am not from Germany or be it Japan,
To be accustomed, a seat on trains,
On the dot of time, and be made
A stickler for time, in time keeping

So I say 5,
But to be, there an hour after, later
For I was born in a sunny place
Where batteries are slow in Swiss watches

And the sun deprives me
Of tic toc, on the dot,
Of time keeping, in stickler
My legs, on energy conservation

What time, on arrows point
Are we to meet?
Five, right 5, you sure 5
Make it 5:30 in awaiting

And hold back till then
On tempered frustration,
Better to start late
With that, on that account, me dear

Believe me, I will still make it,
In the ish of 5ish
Not for me, a stickler for time.

I was born in the sun
And the sun is to be blamed
For my time keeping

Emerging Impulse

Impulse;
My veins radiates
Drum beats my heart express

I am to be the lighthouse
That stands the furtherest post
I made it there

My lighthouse beacon
Sends flash-lights on passage paths
It announces my stands

I am a show off, I made it there
My right to, I deem it my right to
For I made it there

I do inspire,
For I made it there.
On formulas drawn,

Blue print set through cycles
Withdrawal, progression like a yoyo,
Onwards with motivation

On strings of wild flower grown
To be labelled, a fighter
I made it there

On impulse
Set on rhythmic of my heart beat
I dug deep, left youth behind and made it

My lighthouse stands to confess
My ambitions drawn
This is my vision to have made it there

Pi r2 , Mr Kipling

For the attention
Of the, talented Mr Kipling
Bake a pier, bake a pier
Bake me a pier.

Pi r squared
Is some formula in maths,
Gathering nuts like the
Squirrel in numbers added

Attainment gained.
While Kipling is tasked
To bake me a pier.
Exceedingly good, it best be

If in social science, philosophy
Rational is defined,
As not near being reality
In connecting the dots

That makes chaos
The order of the day.
And the politician
Never told a lie, don't lie

He was just in opposition
Like a peeping tom
In arm chair rules
The sun burns, he who walks in it

Even maths can sometimes
Leave us, with decimals  3.14159265358979
I see you rounding up figures to 2.
The nearest 2, forget the rest

Pi r squared is a formula in maths
Now where is my cake, my crumbs
I just made it past the post
Bake a pier, bake me a pier

The Old Dogs

Old dogs are still friends....
Tricks are hard to come by these days....
The bones, somehow feels weak and frail....
Tail movements slow....
.. ..
Hints of grey in  furs ....
He walks slowly absorbed in pain....
If sticks were allowed he did....
Be leaning on one by now....
.. ..
But that was one trick, he never learnt to master ....
A parrot on the roof top, A big loud mouth,
Shouts out loud to tease ....

'You can’t teach him new tricks, ....
His gone too far gone for that now'
In repeated sentences like a broke record....
.. ..
He lifts his head up at strangers....
By the doorway, fidget(ing) ....
Slowly he goes down again....

"What is the point....
My vocal cords wouldn't even give fright....
Dentures in my mouth may fall off ....
If am not careful ....
I am just too old to guard this house"....
.. ..
But always has a pride of place ....
Under the old man’s chair....
Together in affinity they walked the fields of parks  ....
Together they have a bond,....
That will take them to their grave....
.. ..
Let the old Chap ....
Be the one with the stick....
With his smoky  old English grey coat and hut ....
To match, in mention ....
I will just be by his side, sidekick
His old  and loyal friend,  as friends for life  ....

So Many Words (Free verse)

Save(d) the bell, by the bell, saved by the bell
So many words said like rampage
Run this, you hear this, you heard that
I'm all ears, that's what I am saying now
I am all ears, one shot, here shoot

So teach and lecture, poetry
Desk chair, I'm sat on
Tables in front of me
Finger print pushed on lemons
For lemonade, its a process
Re-stressed, compression

Ready to pen down wisdom
A drink, I drink after, whole cups after
I am thirsty for the know
Intellect, intelligence
Gather like harvest

I'm yearning
Give me the vibe right
The oomph tight
The words bright

But now my patience gauge
Slowly moving to rage
I'm furious, delirious
This is miseducation on misinformation

Rest assured, please believe
You will be fired, through the exit polls
After this, after me, after I, take on the stage
Grab the floor, own the place, make it mine to ride

Raid you off, I'm about to set the stage right
Fast, past mediocrity,
Stamping on egg shell
Flour smoke whisker, like ninja, appearance

You've got me all wound up
Why is this, why is that,
Ovens with half baked cakes
Middles on the sloping ends, served

Now am just fuming
Like steam of the rage train
Hear me, watch me, about to deliver
Projected words, chant hallelujah  from wisdom

Note: This is like shaping pencils
Doodling on empty paper, from empty mind
Otherwise known as, scribbling on snakes and ladders
