St. Catherine At Court

Clifton will always be of royal
The host of Bristol; oh Britania

Like the Queen's finest
Jewellery crowned on the hill

Oh grace Alexandria of old Greek
King Costus and Queen Sabinella

Today your very own sits
On the hills of Clifton, sighting view

At assemble with Wills memorial
If there was a building, to stand as royal, oh hail

Oh saint of Catherine I am in your court
Do you know your essence; Joan of Arc named you

Office windows and office doors revolving
In comes, out goes; your crusade to venture

Pitched in Clifton, Britania oh glory St. Catherine
To be the crown on the hill that stands

A Miracle In Temple Quay

On the roof top at the No. one square
Temple Quay where locations are set
Seeing breath distance from the train station

Temple Mead; where work men and women
Gallavant  at a pace set in motion
Only privileged to the week day's hustle

And just before 0900 and 1730 with starbuck cups
To and fro, to earn their keep
Hunters in suits and ties, in office blocks

"Tic, toc, tic, toc, Burry on the hurry, harry"

Here where nature is altered
And the trees that grounds, what few stands
Are positioned and assigned by architecture

"Placed to stand no higher than prescribed"

And on the roof top, a miracle at No. one the square
A life takes form to perfection of nature
Repeated over the millenia as constant

Hoovering up above on protection duty
The seagulls warns off, intruders to alarm
From what miracle of life they nest

On this busy patch of concrete architecture
Where man runs in chase of time
Nature just carries on with miracles, regardless

Refilled Tanks

The clock ticks again
Fun sat as the order of  seasons summer
Breeze brought with it a chill of calm

The sun lighted up roots
To open up withdrawn souls, de-stress
I saw ants of people in Ashton court

I saw priceless of joy from the masses
A communal eruptions of happiness
A festive worship of summer

Summer comes and again
Suited and booted my tank filled up
This will carry me to the end of the year at worst

I got a refill from the summer's blast
I worshipped life and flew without feathers
I had time out at Ashton-court

Brizz Bristol

On an island in the west country,..
In the Queen's land, where Black-beard,..
Once played on, as a young child..

And called his home, among the contours...
Chained men and tobaccos..
Once brought fortune lust..

Bridges were built, and train tracks laid..
By the man Brunel, who wore as long a hat..
Ships and cathedrals, hippodrome and colston halls ..

Bansky's graffiti;
Treasured marks on walls to display..
And stone-henge laid a stone throw away..

Roman baths, in nearby Bath..
And underground passage, of tunnels laid..
For walks, wine cellars and rivers paths, ..

Horse mountain and Welsh borders..
Sat not far away on looks
If adventure should take you a day trip

St. Pauls carnival, harbour festivals..
Balloon festival and beer festivals
Kite festivals down at ashton gates..

And Glastonbury;
Oh the biggest of its kind, in festival stands ..
Not in too far, a distance away to reach..

But for one thing, the one thing
That makes Brizz so special..
Would be sanctuary, it provides for lost souls..

This here laid land, a place like home..
Gulliver did be so proud, to call his home..
Away from home, as I do, away from home..

St. Andrews Park

In front of Effingham road...
In between Leopold, Melita..
Somerville and Maurice road..
The park lies..

Around round the park..
Hedges for fences for boarders..
In contours of waves in topography..
With angles of locations for favourite spots..

Trees for shades, the sun too hot..
That swing, the pool..
And bench, for play spots..
The dogs, barks, runs and fetch..

Butterflies, on pollen duty..
Bees, busy with nectar’s harvest..
Ben and Jerry’s; ..
On drops, in drips, in mouths..

For the happily young and bright..
Coffee spots for parents rest..
Lust, love, insight and lost..

Summer breaks, from academia climb...
Youthful bliss, and memories made..
Happy, funny, sunny joys..
On the park summer is enjoyed..
