Back to the future

A door stands in the midst of day
Waiting to be opened
I had a dog called who-nose
Oh what does the future hold

Knock knock is a step away
A step close on door steps
From the future, back to the future
Oh what does the future hold

With time jingle on tic toc
And events set to take place
I had a dog called who-knows
Oh what does the future hold

The new is always wrapped in anxiety
Jump jump on presents wrapped
So much excitement, of things to come
Oh what does the future hold

To do thus, places to be, people to see
My dog was called who's nose
This and that, etc etc
Oh what does the future hold

In these times, times like this
The soothsayer is favoured the most
With claims to have an incline on
Oh what does the future holds

Beating around the bush on guess work
More like with a sneak eye open to study reaction
Did I tell you, I had a dog called wholeness
Oh what does the future hold

To read one's body language, like a dog tail
And say I see, oh yea I see, I saw, oh yea it's back
Well of course you see, stupid
Oh what does the future hold

Now even the Mayan's are at it as well with 2012
Oh well, but nah too fancy for me, much fuss is made
I would own a dog and call it whoopees
Oh what does the future hold

In any case, we will all, all see
Soon enough, just soon enough
Bear witness soon enough
On what the future holds

Just like the days before and now today
And tomorrow follows with patterns of before
The name of my dog is knows-how
Oh what does the future hold

A Place, A Time

A place, a time, a life in ways
To act in deeds, hear, hear
Here, here, a place to be

I do not sleep standing up
When there is a bed to comfort my rest
Even elephants know to lie on their backs

I will not walk on a treadmill
With speed mark, set at 9
I would have known trips and falls, like friends

I will not swim on land
Or run in swimming pools or any waters full
I may try walking on a mustard filled pool

Then compare myself to scriptures
And say I walked on liquid
Water with add ons

But then the clean up will be messy
So I will ponder before acts.
A place a time, a life in ways to act

I will dress for the occasion
If winter gave me an invite
Or sun shine blessed my day, rarity in England

I will have a smile, for my love
And call her by pet names, unique
For her the only right to have, pet names

To own and no other
She will know my smile, changing on emotion
All the different ones, I never knew I had

But she noticed to admire
A place, a time, a life, in ways to act
Hear, hear, here, here

I will acquire the rightful stage
For who I am, my rightful stage
With books I have stood on, to elevate my stand

Robes, for ceremony on graduation
Then after, a place, a time, a life in ways
In my rightful place, I have acquired to be

Hear, hear, here, here
A place, a time
A life in ways

God Made Me

Just before I pass off, pass on, stretch hands
And hand over battens, not yet, but
To the next in line, like legacy
Battens in rally ran, its your turn

Whispering guidance
And lessons learnt
Take care on this road
It is long and treacherous

But full of hope and beauty
I have lived it, I know it
Suffered in its toil to gain its reward
Like harvest day, fruits in baskets

Bring out your baskets
And be sent blessed
By his goodness, God gracious
Every day shower

God made me, he ordained me
So from the beginning I was destined
To be greater than great
The greatest in my own endeavours

But never on a silver plate,
To be placed, like the king on chess game
It is the journey that count,
It is the part, that is blessed the most, in blessing

To find myself, through gutters dug
And know what I am made of,
Capable now, to dance with the lions
I am to be tested, to prove my worth

And stand on my own two feet
Accomplished, no wobbles
I am on top of the world with birds eye view
I see all, on the landscape

God made me
God made me
God made me
