An English Weather Report

This is an English weather report
Brought to you by; the weather man is on strike.

There is a like for a dislike and a dislike for a like
To do with the English weather; a dislike a like

To do, to do, to do, to do, to do
My brolly out, to do, to do, to do; I say

If frustration had its way
To crack a whip, it would without hesitation
Of course it would do, without contemplation
On the backside of the weather's play

Hmm, I guess that would
Just mean more tears on sensitivity

The weather is just too hypersensitive
With tear drop so frequent, call on encore

But for most part, it does not pour
Not like it does with the hyperactive rush

Of the tropics with sentiments so strong
Best advice, be advised; escape from its way

Gently, gently, subtle to do, to do, to do
A like of a dislike and a dislike of a like

O rainy England, to do, to do, to do, to do
What am I to do, to do, with you

Cuddling in winter

It feels as though, life dies
When summer is no more
Gone away with all the little things
We smile and laugh about

The gale winds, the cold frost
The minutes in eternity, spent for the car to warm
The layers of cloths, to add some more
And not enough cover to Eskimo the face

The  cold weather drives us all in
Like an Anatolian shepherd with effect
So time and time again, housebound we become
With curtains closed, to void, t' weather's penetrating thoughts

Come, lets cuddle up by the fire side
A blanket to share, a story to tell
I would trade summer for your company in winter
And not have to say much, nor laugh that much

But just a cuddle, would do
And I will spend winter bonding with you
Summer would have its time to shine
To show as off, to show how close we got in winter

Rains on the Island

Mermaids are made of fiction
Stories told to delight our imagination
Like the flying little fairies

Who parade with joy in back gardens
So many in lists of creatures to mention
All magical and wondrous in ways there are

To cast a spell of enchantment
So many children stories, inspired
To have been told of fiction

But in Europe laid an island
Anglo, hair tin distance from the main land
Where the tears of the clouds poured persistent

Poured on so much, on the regular
It turned the inhabitants into mermaids
Such a place like a fish tank, England always wet

Eskimo

Eskimo!
#Oh my is cold outside

Packed up, wrapped up
In layers  of Caribou,
Muskox, seal fur,
Polar bear skins,  and more
Many more, much more

Faced up in competition
With the onion layer
Who's got layers, yea yea
Tell me who's got layers
Eskimo!

Eskimo!
I do mine with layers on T shirts
What else can be put on, goes on
Second layers now feel
Like nakedly dressed

Eskimo!
#Oh, my is cold outside
#I mean like really cold outside
#Shivers with cold, outside

Eskimo!
Gosh, its cold outside
No joke,  its cold outside
Eskimo!

Eskimo!,
I am packing, racking
Folding, on jackets
On Jackets, on Jackets
Like Jack and the fat man
The fat man, am packing, to become

Eskimo!
Summer was a bore, boring
Refusing to show it's cards, selfish
And the birds stayed in, half clothed
Still protesting to come out and play

Eskimo!
Oh no not winter,
Eskimo!, Russia, Antarctic

#Oh my is cold outside
#Really really cold outside
#Shivers with cold, outside

Eskimo !
She held no hold backs,
Eskimo in styles I had to dress in
For park plays, park walks, cosy feel
It became a requisite, Eskimo!
