Absent at present; with yesterday's dreams

Let me know you, shadows in the window
Stranger thus you stand and wonder

Pondering with thoughts, held prison to
To what price owed so heavy on contemplation

I see you this close to touch with yesterdays dreams
In close distance I feel your presence yet far a' near-far

The captivation of  an audience,
You do, so effortlessly with your elegance

Yet empty cold and brash of substance
After winning the hearts of all that stare

Would wings set one so free to chase yesterday
To escape with gaze through the window we stare

Announce to me my dear, I employ you
My attention you hold to court, announce to me

What sits so strong, so wrong, to hold hostage
On thy mind, to be absent at present

Stranger thus you have become, ghostly
Invisible to a crowded room, absent at present

Hello, hello; excuse me, excuse me
Hello, excuse me, hello, hello; absent at present

Philosophy of logic

If only it was possible to bring, them back
It would all just be, a lot easier for questions
For questions, to have answers and less of
Perceptions and assumed notions of what was meant

I have got a tall order and for so many
With so many to answer for
A tall order, I tell you
A very tall order indeed

I have witnessed doubters, where followers hold faith
I have seen alliances formed on pledges
To die for a school of thought
From opposing ends

I hear others claim knowledge and profess
As masters in expert, of sought
Foremost in supposed fields, used to describe
Depict personas, who lay claim as being in the know

What do you know, truly what do you know
Were you t', at the EVENT, present during doctrine a' acts
To lay mastering of what was meant in deeds
And said in words to affirm and associate, I ask

Can you be called as witness in court
Called upon and swear to tell the truth
The whole truth, nothing but the truth
Truly, truthfully without sway

If only it was possible and time machines
Had long being invented
To answer once and for all, and in frequent
To make come backs, to reaffirm

For the grape vine, can not be left
As a caretaker, for too long
Even with the simplest of answers, without distort
Without, finding ways to bend notions

In the house of the courts, reasonable doubt is raised
And thus, all that is known can not be asserted
Said as fact, of a way, a school of thought or another
To prove one’s concept, right or wrong

This is my philosophy of logic
Did Shakespeare, write all he is accredited with?
Did Jesus walk on water and feed so many
Did, etc, etc, etc, on reasonable doubt

This is my philosophy of logic
Taking it all in, with a pinch of salt
Mind you, I am not discrediting notions
I am merely just conceptualising, adding my own take

What Is Next

Where are you, I ask
With strings attached, string-fellow
Wearing  down my existence

What is next, I ask, what is next
We placed our trust in the system
We paid our tax to the system

We signed to the school of thought you peddled
We followed with faith what you  preached
We aspired to reach the pinnacle set

We acquired what success ascribed to be
What dreams, we were asked to dream
We connected and invested into the system

We mortgaged our freedom to the system
We tied a knot to the system, confetti
We were briefed on who, held t' moral high ground

We then  watched the system fail to deliver
We got to know what was fact from illusion
We lost our jobs because of the system

We felt the pain in our pockets
We felt the hunger in our stomach
We had no security for our children, lost our houses

We woke to realise the fallacy fed to us
Where halo the funds and joy was
What we had, what we were sold

And we went to occupy wall street
Some of the people some of the time
We demand answers to the question

Who was it that benefited
If we are said to be, a part of the system
Yet we suffer most from the system

Difference Of An Opinion

Difference of opinion, I opinion-ate
Like minded sat in a room full of the same
So no one pronounces, what is the use
We all know already, a trick card

No argument there then
What is the use, we all agree to a T
Turn tables, no debate to challenge perception

Stimulate a school of thought
No one questions motives
What is the use, we are like minded

So before you think I know
And an agreement is reached with no debate
What is t' use, our thoughts are on t' same wave length

Individualism is a foreign connotation, unheard of
Automated concepts with synchronised perceptions
Laser wired with chips in the head

Factory stamped, a batch of a kind
What is the use, for difference of opinions
Programmed all t' same, social communism all in harmony

Watch me going crazy, out of boredom
And so is he, and he, and he and he
Stack in a cartoonish wheel pool

Bizarre worlds, of all the same
Same, same, same,same, saaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaame
Ha, aaaaaaaah, a synchronised yell, all feel the same
