What Is Next

Where are you, I ask
With strings attached, string-fellow
Wearing  down my existence

What is next, I ask, what is next
We placed our trust in the system
We paid our tax to the system

We signed to the school of thought you peddled
We followed with faith what you  preached
We aspired to reach the pinnacle set

We acquired what success ascribed to be
What dreams, we were asked to dream
We connected and invested into the system

We mortgaged our freedom to the system
We tied a knot to the system, confetti
We were briefed on who, held t' moral high ground

We then  watched the system fail to deliver
We got to know what was fact from illusion
We lost our jobs because of the system

We felt the pain in our pockets
We felt the hunger in our stomach
We had no security for our children, lost our houses

We woke to realise the fallacy fed to us
Where halo the funds and joy was
What we had, what we were sold

And we went to occupy wall street
Some of the people some of the time
We demand answers to the question

Who was it that benefited
If we are said to be, a part of the system
Yet we suffer most from the system

My Right To, My Prerogative

What I would give for common grounds
Chaos of a debate, lingering on platforms
A thousand men demand to be heard, boiling kettle

Individual thoughts on compromise, unreachable
Opposite ends of a spectrum
Distance of notions expressed, banquet for tea set up

Avoidance of a resemblance, tea party gather
Fear of his intention, alien of his life
Reeks of toxic propaganda, allergy to his breath

"Do not come close" Manifesto set
Far is near enough of want
Buffer zone, requested, demanded

Strangers intentions, unclear to observers
Worried with paranormal thoughts
From outcome of encounters, drink up notions

No progress or developments, buying into the production
No innovation through links and compliance
No effect on cause of sharing, knowing, understanding

Fear mongering on old folk tales, passed on, them against us
"There is something in the woods" it worries
Factions of individuals, groups, "puppet masters"

A vote in voices heard , hostage of a party held
A thousand men demand a stage
A thousand more queue in line

No compromise, gathering solid ground
" someone always looses out on that
and it want be me "

I demand to be heard
It is with my self interest that I speak
I demand to be heard, observers worry

My right to, I vote to, kidnap of an old machinery
My prerogative
My tea, just went cold, on my crumpets

We Are The 99%

There is no democracy  "Limp up"
If my vote for the left or the right
Leaves me out of pocket and without a job, no joke

When the police see my right to demonstrate
As an act of aggregation towards the state
And not a wake up call to the cry of it's citizens

There is no democracy when private institutions
Puppet the machinery of society's  fabric
To their own private gains, fooling the masses

When secret organisations are formed
Within governments and titled special privileged groups
With a get out of jail card to walk on water

And who is to take the moral high ground
When the west sleeps in the same bed
With all that, we as a civilised society, should stand against

Are meant to be differentiated from
There is no democracy when communism
And capitalism blur the lines of who owes who, I O U

So today, I will wear my Guy  Fawkes mask
And march to Tahrir square, The Wall street, Hong Kong
Leicester square, in Greece, Japan, in Thailand

For I am one of the 99 percent, left out
And I demonstrate for my right to be, let in
To hold the institution of governance to account

Some "Thing" Stinks

"

A case in point, say politics in pictures view

Some thing stinks, scandal  yet no one says

Some thing rattles yet no one hears

Like the death by a thousand cuts
By a thousand men and society bleeds

Who am I to hold, for the crime inflicted, who done it

And Julius Caesar will know such pain in betrayal

Recent calenders holds such epic stories known "early"

Bringing to light the rot in society

Watching giants fall, taking a few others with them

The cancer of corruption greed and power

By the men who swore an oath to uphold

Defending with pomposity such acid tongue  they "jiggle" with jibe

The indefensibly with a smug, my heart rages

Morality is gone Barmy and the nut house is full

In the concrete jungle a phenomenon arises
Giants of trees fall in successions
And the parrots Murdoch are tamed without voice

Tainted acts and by association, playing the power game

Lining pockets, no one hears a tree fall in the forest

If you did, then tell me, who among the crowd done it

So with a thousand cuts who is society to blame

Julius Caesar will know such pain, pain of affliction

While democracy bleeds on hypocrisy and greed.

Tell me, who done it.
