Page Turner

It is quicker to cut a tree trunk
Than to trim its edges
Faster to fall off branches
Than to climb up trees

Papers, pages, scribble
And every body has a story to tell
So many verses in chapters
Cliff hangers, book-markers, marks pages reached

To tell the truth, honest truth
I do not know any one
In person, one in person
W' reads the summary of books before diving in

Why spoil the richness of discovery read
Readers digest, the oracle is a spoiler
Kill joy, do not spoil the story for me and mine
Skip not a page, this is a page turner

I want to read in full context
Jump off my seat, in sections held
Laugh out loud in others reached
Cry to be human on emotions

Always some baddie
To have to deal with
Like obstacles along the way
To have to deal with

Life is like a book worm
I will pass it on and tell the story
After I finish with read
Like a thriller to excite

Refilled Tanks

The clock ticks again
Fun sat as the order of  seasons summer
Breeze brought with it a chill of calm

The sun lighted up roots
To open up withdrawn souls, de-stress
I saw ants of people in Ashton court

I saw priceless of joy from the masses
A communal eruptions of happiness
A festive worship of summer

Summer comes and again
Suited and booted my tank filled up
This will carry me to the end of the year at worst

I got a refill from the summer's blast
I worshipped life and flew without feathers
I had time out at Ashton-court

The Storm

After the dust craze settles
Forward, on passage, we all move
Behind the storm in circles

And in circles we await the next encounter
Between then and now, and now's encounters
We stand on reflection with thinkers cup

Tasked to prepare for the next encounter
It is our key performance indicators
And we are told to know in fact

That impact will suffocate and drawn
The man who did nothing,
After first encounter

He relayed on the tree
For protection in the first storms encounters
And hopes to do the same again

To have just quenched the fire at the edge
But did nothing from the source
The spark, the reasons triggered ignored

And built no bunker to protect his own
That man will suffocate
In the mist of the storm

Signed Treaty

Today we sit, stand a' shake hands, on symbols
We smile to t' crowd, as great men a' women
We sign peace treaties, on politics, on life, in social

We swear on oath,
Our pledge to stand
And for my honour

Let me be held by my words
Let my actions follow my words this day
Like rains on fertile lands not deserted

Let me be tested for my honour
Yes by my honour my integrity
Let me be a man defined as just

For on this day
I ask for my word to be on act, with trust
And be defined on gentlemen's honour

Let me stand by my word
Not like the preacher who preaches
Without acts to follow, let me be by my word..

Celebrating Love

Love is like a river, with seasons
Honoured by the calenders post
Flowers, wine, chocolate
And for joy to be this day

Another day added to celebrate life
W' is love to discern in meaning
To the solitary man in cottage far
Who lived void from welcoming hands

It is the treasure of knowing
Feeling, caring, gentle teases in-between
Pillow talks, and cuddling
I profess to know so well

The energy that forms
When we come together
Lighting strike to sparkle
The affinity of zeal

I am blessed to have you
I know that, you are with joy
By my side to complete me, as I do you
As I do you and the honour I hold

It is with joy bestowed
To complete you
The privilege
I am accustomed

To hold your hands
And be honoured
By the calenders post
In celebrating love

Oh s**** I forgot the flowers :)
