Vocal Portraits

Late hear, I heard some beautiful
Serenading, sound calling rhyme

I heard words turned rhythm

Into lyrical vibes mystic yearn

Sudden waves jump melodies

In-tune on each word pronounced

No scratch on leaves

No dent on cotton

No thunder sound on broken voices

Just as beautiful, blue sky shine bright

This was vocal portraits

15 poets, 15 voices, soul searching

  2. powerful voices and some words that left me in awe of their talent. Thanks for sharing and broadening the world I live in. Your poetry is inspiring. I'm sorry if I disappointed you on my site beause I wrote a story instead of poetry. I would be interested in your honest opinion of a short poem I wrote I call "tears in the rain" http://oldgrizz.blogspot.com/2013/04/tears-in-rain.html

Your poetry is awesome and I have just begun to try writing some of it.

  3. Reminds me of the new concept of recording the sound waves of couples saying "I do" at the altar and then making a photo out of it.http://aimee-weaver.blogspot.com/2012/10/sound-wave-art.html

  5. I like this, sort of lament with tender undertones. Made me think and set me wondering. Well Done.

  6. Words definitely can be musical and musical are your words. Each time I read this it says more and more to me. Some words become alive and speak to us.

Thanks for sharing a wonderful poem with us for this weeks Theme Thursday. I hope you have been having a great week.

    God bless.
