My Poor Little Tulip

It was love at first sight
Watching your little tulip
Blossom bright

When stars that shine goes dim
The whole world, feels  its chill
My poor little tulip

Smile again and bring out the sun
Walk the land, hop with joy
So trees will bear their sweetest fruits

Do something silly
So I would call you crazy
And have you smile back at me with grin

My poor little tulip
Brighten up, and lets go pick wild flowers
As beautiful as you are, as you always are

My poor little tulip

  1. I like this poem especially, as I have a little dog named "Tulip." And with her as well it was 'love at first sight.'

  4. This could so easily have become sentimental. It's a tribute to you that it didn't. Well done.
