How do you make a clown cry 
The joke is on you 
The joke is on you 

Is that a joke, was there a joke 
Knock, knock, crybaby 
The joke is on you 

Honk honk, a red nose
Flapping shoes, baggy trousers
Funny walks, the joke is on you

How do you make a clown cry
Teasing one to take offence
Prodding one to act it out

Chipping away on thick skin
The joke is on you
The joke is on you

And there we have it, there it is
Funny funny, yea very funny there we have it
Is that a joke, was there a joke


Knock, knock, honk, honk 
The joke is on you
