    I dont quite understand the usage of "Presences" :) but I do relate to the thought of being obsessed with such thoughts!

    Yearnings make the world move and keep things alive. If the presence of someone satisfies the yearning then it is bliss. No more 'pangs of starvation' I'm sure! Great haiku!
